We're walkin in the park, You're always givin' me a head start. I'll be your best friend. Give me all your love and affection I'll be your dog, come when you call. I'll be your dog, waitin by the window for you to come home I'll sit, I'll stay. You command and I'll obey, I've got your number written round my neck, Got a GPS tracker in my left hip. You couldn't lose me if you tried. I'll be your dog, come when you call. I'll be your dog, waiting by the window for you to come home. I'm beggin' for your table scraps, I'm tearin' about your new shoes, I'm trackin' mud onto the couch, You're callin' me bad news, You're callin' me a bad, bad girl, You're callin' me a bad, bad, girl. I'll be your dog, come when you call. I'll be your dog, waiting by the window for you to come home

Windsome wanderer, draggin your feet through the dirt. There's loneliness in his stride. Lady on the run, Don't get caught. Her fear chasin' down yellow lines. I'm growin' tired. Whats your dying wish? Peel back the skin. Mine's to go quick. That cowboy, Is lookin for a fight. There's greed in his pistol shine. I'm growin' tired. What's your dying wish? Peel back the skin. Mine's to go quick.

about

Try and imagine you're in a cool, breezy space and contemplating love, life and death.

I'll Be Your Dog features two songs recorded straight to 4-track tape, live and fully acoustic in June of 2019.
These couple of songs were written following the wrap up of recording Dusk in summer of 2018 and have been on a slow low simmer of live experimentation.
What I've found is that they're best received in their purest form; how they were originally written.
